3D

Since the next phase of our project is to make a 3D model of our exhibition booth, I figured it would be right to search for some pictures of other 3D renderings of exhibition booths.

Hopefully this would prove to be useful later on. It has at least given me some insight on what an exhibition booth is expected to look like.

Profile

Profile board is where you're supposed to explain what the areas in the exhibition booth would be like. We wanted a place where you can get information but also have the choice to test out the product ourselves instead of simply being the passive listener, you have a big chance to be able to decide for ourselves the worth of the product.

So for this scenario, testing areas are a must. As well as the information counter and brochure stands for visitors.

Design drafts

Some initial first designs. even though it's not finished or confirmed yet, it is used to decide the exact colour scheme that we're looking for .

A not so accurate first try at the side view of the booth. Still trial and error phase.

Concept

Our concept is for it to be modern, fresh and clean. The orange and white theme is supposed to be attractive to the youth for its bright and fun atmosphere and to attract more customers and buyers for the product.

Mostly organic shapes such as curves and round furniture are used to keep it from being monotonous and boring for the visitor to look at

Comparison

Since a product image should be unique to itself, I decided to compare it against other similar products to see just how it fares against the competition.

Comparison against Maxis, Celcom, Digi and U-mobile broadband

As you can see, although they all posses similar shape and function, the feel of the design is completely different from one another. Even the colour theme that it goes with is different with each one. Celcom being blue, Maxis green, Digi yellow and U-mobile orange.

Brand Change

Since me and my partner decided to do U mobile broadband as our product, a brand change was in order.

Research on the product soon follows afterwards of course.

Existing ads of the product

The theme of the product seems very fresh, with a bright use of eye catching orange colour.

Finished Product!

So after a few weeks of various research, sketching, designing, and modelling, the final product is now done!

The mascot is done as the main attraction glued to the front of the roof while the whole bus stop design goes with a red and white theme to be parallel with the original design image of CIMB clicks.

Progress report

Figured out the main colour that I would be using for the design, which is white and obviously RED

A screenshot of how it all is coming together digitally. A few more tweaks and it would be ready for printing out and the building of the model.
